Literature Text

His blood mixed with mine, filling the hall floor with a crimson lake. A hushed silence fell over the crowd, the same crowd that had been demanding our deaths moments ago. As we grew weaker, it became apparant that we had little time left in this world. He reached for my hand in the same instant I reached for his, our hands intertwining in the pool of blood. My vision began to darken; his face had the pallor of fresh snow. We had but minutes left. "I- I love you," I whispered loud enough for it to reach his ears alone. He looked at me with such compassion then that the mob, the hall, everything melted away, leaving us in our own private existence. He spoke then, his melodic voice sounding so weak. "I will always love you." As he uttered the last syllable, we faded into oblivion.
I randomly came up with this. Sad, isn't it?
